We now have the kit to work with LS1/GTO style car accessories. This kit fits accessory drives the LS1 accessories where the Power Steering pump is in the upper position and the alternator is beneath it. If you have the truck style accessories, please check our other kits!
Are you installing an LS engine in your Fox/SN95 Mustang and you want to keep the power steering? This is the item you need. This also includes the pressure reduection kit to reduce modern power steering pump pressure for compatibility with the Fox Mustang rack and pinion. Fox Mustang racks use an operating pressure of 1000 psi, and the LS pumps put out much more pressure than that.
With out kit, you can use the stock high pressure LS pump that attaches easily to your LS engine - simply use the included pressure reduction kit to reduce the output pressure to a level your stock Mustang steering rack can live with!
The LS pumps typically put out about 500 psi more than the stock Ford rack is rated for! Don't take a chance!
If you're doing an LS Swap into an older Chevy or other car you will need to reduce the pressure there also, you can find the reduction kit by itself in our other items.
Includes clamping tool, 6 shims and installation instructions for lowering the bypass pressure on all GM self contained and Type II power steering pumps.

We include supply/return hoses with the correct fittings and suitable length to attach your LS Steering pump to your Fox Mustang's stock steering rack. No need to buy custom hoses or find oddball fittings. Bolt it on and go! It doesn't get any simpler than that!
Installation is very easy and instructions are included. Hoses are USA-made Fragola PTFE hose, safe for use with the high pressure of power steering.
